Henri Nordoc, Merlot 2022

The wines from Domaine Henri Nordoc are made near Narbonne on the Languedoc's Golf de Lion coast. The hot, Mediterranean climate is tempered by the cooling breezes coming off the sea, and makes for ideal growing conditions for producing lively wines packed full of fruity flavour. And this 100% Merlot is no exception. Warm, fruity and almost opaque in colour; the nose has aromas of chocolate, cassis and black cherry. The palate is chock full of flavours of blackcurrant and red plum with subtle leathery notes. This is a robust and supple wine with a lasting finish and pairs extremely well with beef.
